Bringing the classroom to you

Hi! I’m Oreofe.
Currently tutoring in:
☆Biology (KS4-KS5 )
Through excellent independent working, I achieved A*A*A at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and English literature, an additional A in History at AS level. At GCSE level, I earned an A*, two 9s and 4As in my taught subjects. Now speaking from my own personal experience, I truly believe with the right dedication, and guidance through tutoring, your child can earn outstanding results like the above. While tutoring with me, you will come to understand that exams are not as daunting as we often convince ourselves they are, and that we are fully in control when we have the right attitude and commitment.
Working as an independent illustrator, and with a love for art, I am enthusiastic about bringing colour and creativity to my teaching space. I’d be thrilled to provide a much-needed visual engagement that will boost learning and solidify understanding.
Apart from this, I am willing, and very capable, of adapting to a variety of teaching methods and needs. Over my years of volunteering in educational spaces with school-age individuals, from summer reading challenges at libraries to secondary schools and day cares, I have developed the right communication skills and malleability that you will need.
Currently studying at Warwick University – English Literature and Creative Writing.
I hope to meet soon. 🙂

I am writing to recommend Ore-Ofe as a strong candidate for this online tutoring opportunity. Ore-Ofe has been a standout student from the start of the full academic year (2019-2020) I taught her for. She is a kind-hearted and respectful individual, and her creative work (which consistently improves due to how well she engages with classes) shows her determination to engage with thematic and intellectual depth. This determination can be further seen in her early professional achievements in competitive places such as Penguin Random House (which also testifies to her existing preparation in professional working environments) which set her apart as an action-oriented, ambitious and hardworking student.
Furthermore, she has already worked in education, which will ensure a smooth transition towards this tutoring opportunity. She is great at participating, at taking feedback constructively, and helping others in and out of class, and I fully expect she will project the desire to do so onto her tutees as well. She is a fantastic ambassador for Warwick and would without doubt be a fantastic tutor, and I truly believe that the experience offered by this programme will be a key factor in her professional and personal growth.
I am the editor of Lacuna Magazine where Oreofe Morakinyo works in a paid role as an artist. Oreofe’s role demands creativity and the ability to understand complex and challenging articles, putting herself in the position of both writer and reader, and producing eye-catching images to support our stories. She demonstrates excellent organisational skills to produce her work to deadline and communicates clearly and professionally.
