I have an application-led approach to economics teaching: being able to make intelligent judgements about how real economic situations can play out given classroom theory is just as important as knowledge of theories, definitions and diagrams, but is much harder to master.

Reading Economics & Management BSc and having achieved 3A* at A-level (including Economics), I am passionate about the value of economics for providing the tools to reshape the world. Having embarked on economic research myself in the fields of education, transport and corporate governance resulting in award-winning essays, I enjoy helping new economics students develop a similar appreciation for the power of models, theory, data analysis and diagrammatic representations in decision making.

I intend for lessons to be adapted entirely to students’ needs, with no expectations of learning outside the classroom, though I may occasionally ask that timed questions are finished after the session to maximise learning time.
