 My Bio

 My Experience:

I have a strong passion for English as a subject, developed through my wide-ranging studies from the medieval to modern periods and additional research projects. I researched and wrote on literary representations of queer gender in an Extended Project Qualification, awarded an A*, and co-researched and presented on the history of women's literature for HE+, a year-long collaborative programme between the University of Cambridge and state schools and colleges.

Outside of studies, I have varied experience with helping others, from volunteering as a Young Leader for a local Cub pack of about 20 children to performing customer service during my job as a retail employee at Matalan. These experiences with different kinds of people have fostered a personal approach to tutoring; I am interested in understanding how to support you and your needs.

 

 My Qualifications:

- Recently completed a BA in English Language and Literature from the Uni of Oxford, where I was awarded a College Scholarship Award and Collection Book Prize for outstanding academic performances and achieved First Class in my first-year exams, placing 23rd out of 228 in the cohort
- Achieved four A*s at A Level (English Literature, History, Government and Politics, and an EPQ)
- Achieved ten A/A* and equivalent grades at GCSE
- Awarded a prize for English and Film Studies from Nottingham Summer School
