I have known Grace Kinnersley for more than 10 years and I would highly recommend her as an employee in general and for a job as a tutor in particular.
My son and his friend both needed a Spanish tutor for their GCSEs in 2019 and Grace successfully took on that role. Her tutoring sessions were well-prepared and the boys enjoyed her sessions. Her lessons consisted of a well-balanced combination of oral and written tasks as well as reading and translation practice. Grace tutored the boys for almost a year and they both achieved an excellent grade for Spanish in their GCSE exams as a result.
I was also lucky enough to have Grace as a babysitter when my two songs were younger. Not only is Grace a very responsible young lady, but she is also respectful, considerate and hard-working.
In closing, I feel that Grace Kinnersley would be an excellent tutor and I am confident in making this recommendation to you. I consent to this reference being used on your website. Please feel free to contact me if I can provide any additional information that may be helpful during this process.
I have known Grace since she joined Ashford School at the age of 11 and I have no hesitation in recommending her for the position of tutor; she will be excellent.
Grace is not only highly academically able, but is also an outgoing, socially aware and thoughtful individual with excellent interpersonal skills. She performed exceptionally well throughout her time at Ashford School, and her scholarly approach, combined with her patience and compassion for others will make her an ideal tutor.
I taught Grace for English a number of times throughout her school career – firstly, when she astonished me with her creative flair and mature writing style in Year 8 and later on, throughout her A Level English Literature course. Grace produces fluent, well-structured and stylish essays that are a pleasure to read. Her excellent ability to make connections between ideas results in original and creative solutions to problems. She can communicate sophisticated concepts with ease and I know that she will be able to teach challenging concepts to younger students.
Grace excelled in all aspects of school life. She won the Best in School prizes for GCSE Art, Spanish, English Literature and History. Her softly spoken nature can sometimes mask her strength and determination, but at the same time she is a selfless individual with a genuine interest and care for others
Grace is a highly intelligent individual whose genuine engagement with ideas across a range of disciplines equips her well to be a tutor.
