 My Bio

Hi, my name is Yaelle. After achieving A*s in French GCSE and A Level, I took my love for the language one step further and moved to France to study. After two years of living in France and pursuing an undergraduate social sciences degree in French at Sciences Po Paris, I have gained lots of tricks and techniques to help you speak like a native and get top marks in your exams. Whether it’s grammar, vocabulary, exam technique, or just conversation, I can make it easy to understand and fun. I tutor beginner, intermediate, GCSE, AS or A Level, as well as any level of the DELF, and I also offer conversation sessions. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!

 My Experience:

I have been tutoring for the past three years, teaching French at beginner and GCSE level, Geography at GCSE level, German at GCSE level, Spanish at beginner and A Level, and English as a foreign language. I've taught all ages and learning types, and I take pride in my highly individualised approach, tailoring all of my classes to closely suit the needs of the student, while also being dynamic and engaging. Even the most complicated grammatical concept or geographical process can be fun!

 

 My Qualifications:

I'm currently in my third year of a trilingual social sciences undergraduate degree. I achieved 11A*s at GCSE (English literature, English language, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Geography, Spanish, German, French, and DT) and 4A*s at A Level (Geography, Politics, French, and German). I also have a C1 Spanish certification (SIELE) and C1 French (DELF).

I'm passionate about languages, and with the fluency I've gained through attending university in France and Mexico as well as immersion experiences in Germany and Austria, I can help you speak like a native and get top marks. I'm currently specialising in Geography at university, so I have plenty of techniques for memorising all those case studies, both human and physical!
