2nd-year Economics student at UCL determined to help your child achieve their full potential and highest grade possible!
I have achieved A* at both GCSE and A-level for the subjects I provide and have previous tutoring experience with mathematics. Making each session as interactive and interesting as possible is the key to effective learning, and the techniques that I implement such as active recall ensures that my students thoroughly understand and remember the fundamental concepts which will help them perform during exams.
Subjects that I offer:
– Mathematics KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 (All year groups up to and including GCSE)
– Biology KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 (All year groups up to and including GCSE)
For each subject, I will be going through their respective syllabuses with my students to make sure that they understand everything that the exam board requires. Past papers and mock exams will also be given which are the best forms of practise for achieving high grades.
I am excited to be (hopefully) working with you soon!

I taught Alex mathematics from September 2018 until June 2020. He is a very strong Mathematician and over the two years that I taught him, he was consistently achieving grades of A and A* level. As well as having very strong subject knowledge, Alex also has excellent communication skills. He could always be relied upon to ask and answer questions in class and would do so eloquently. He was also able to impart his knowledge to his peers who were struggling, with clarity and ease, in such a way as to ensure full understanding followed.
Regarding Alex’s personal qualities, he is very well mannered, exceptionally polite and very good company to be around. He is a driven and motivated individual who always strives to achieve the highest standards in whatever he sets his mind to and can be completely relied upon to meet his responsibilities.
I believe that Alex would make an excellent tutor and recommend him to you without hesitation.
I am writing in support of Alex Lee’s application for employment with Cambridge Online Tutors. Having taught Alex in Middle School and overseen his voluntary outreach work in Sixth Form, I am certain he has the academic ability and character to make an outstanding tutor. He had an exemplary academic record at MGS and opted to tutor Year 6 pupils at a local primary school throughout his time in Year 12. I was struck by Alex’s patience and maturity with the children he worked with, even when faced with reluctant learners and challenging behaviour. He had natural and supportive manner that would be ideally suited to working with learners of all ages. I fully recommend him to you, without hesitation.
