MA Linguistics graduate with a distinction in pre-advanced Japanese. I have 3 years of experience teaching languages. My intuitive, empathetic personality lends itself to teaching languages specifically. Japanese is not as difficult as it is thought to be because when teaching any new skill or topic, I break things down for my students. Reviewing is one of the most important stages of learning. Therefore, I would recommend listening to Japanese YouTube and familiarising yourself with rhythm of the language. If you review 2 or 3 short YouTube videos (5 minutes or less) each day, you will have plenty of practice but also alternative videos to watch, so that you do not get bored. I also have GCSEs and A-levels in French and English Literature.
I have three years of teaching experience. I have taught both in person and online. I have taught people of various nationalities (mainly Japanese, Chinese and Spanish). I have also done some translation work (Japanese to English) for YouTube videos.
At The University of London, I studied pre-advanced Japanese and and achieved a distinction (the highest grade).I will my finish MA Linguistics degree at The University of London in Sep 2023. I have a level 5 TEFL certificate and A-levels in English Literature and French. I also have a BSc in biology. I have studied other languages, including Arabic at The University of London and Latin GCSE.
