 My Bio

 My Experience:

I am currently a tutor for a range of students across the globe from ages 8-18 covering biology, chemistry, physics and maths, as well as standard admissions tests and interview preparation. Prior to tutoring full time, I spent five years working as a biomedical scientist in the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, University of Edinburgh. During my time here, I supervised a number of undergraduate and masters level students through their dissertation placements and worked as a tutor and demonstrator on various undergraduate biomedical science classes from 2018-2022. From this experience, I am currently completing my Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

I love working with students and young people to help them see their incredible potential. My personalised lessons support students in finding answers and understanding topics themselves; I simply guide the way. Alongside the factual knowledge, I work closely to develop a students confidence, problem-solving and evaluation skills.

I am able to teach offer the following subjects and levels:
-Biology: KS1-Masters level
-Chemistry: KS1-A Level/Scottish Higher
-Physics: KS1-A Level/Scottish Higher
-Mathematics: KS1-GCSE/Scottish National 5

 

 My Qualifications:

-MRes (Master's by Research) Regenerative Medicine, University of Edinburgh (2022-2023): currently completing
-BSc(Hons), University of Sussex: Medical Neuroscience, 1st Class
-A Levels: Biology (A*), Physics (A), Chemistry (B), AS Level Maths (A)
-GCSE: 11 A*, 2 A grades
