 Lesson Details

Offering tuition in GCSE and A-Level Politics. My goal, is to support students in consolidating their understanding of key content and refining their exam technique/essay-writing skills. I will always design lessons to suit the individual needs of each student!

My academic background is mostly in British and American Politics. However, my personal interest in European politics and international affairs has broadened my knowledge. I focused on Feminism during my Politics A-Level, however, my university studies have ensured I am equipped with a strong understanding of all political ideologies featured in the syllabus.

 My Experience:

Throughout my time at school, I regularly engaged in opportunities to support younger students with their studies. During sixth form, I co-founded a French lunchtime club, aimed at helping younger students improve their language skills in a supportive environment.

My tutoring journey began as a debate mentor, where I chaired and judged debates, guiding students on key content and debating techniques. The topics ranged from environmental policy to the ethics of violent protest, allowing students to develop critical thinking and strengthen their ability to articulate arguments effectively. In this role, I worked closely with several neurodivergent students, primarily those navigating dyslexia and autism. This experience has ensured I can adapt my teaching style to be accessible to al!
