Working with this organisation has not only provided a professional platform to practice but has also offered a platform personal growth and development. I thought I was only tutoring but I was also learning. The range of students taught and syllabuses delivered helps you to optimise your knowledge. The students are also courteous and engaging. More importantly, the management provides a supportive environment.

This is great for students looking for additional work with meaning! As tutors we get to know our students, see them grow, overcome challenge and be inspired. The professional staff are helpful and flexible too, understanding of uni exams, deadlines etc

We needed to find a tutor to help our daughter with her Maths GCSE's and stumbled across Cambridge Online Tutors. The system was really easy to use and they have an array of tutors available at fair prices (we also liked the fact that the first lesson was half price so we could see if this was something that worked for us).
We searched through the list and found Matilda Crown who offers tuition in Maths and Science. Matilda has been an absolute godsend and we cannot recommend her enough.
Our daughter effectively missed out on two years of mainstream schooling (because of bullying issues) and was hugely behind her peers as a result. Just the mere mention of the word 'maths' would put her into a spin. Matilda has been so patient and kind has thoroughly explained the relevant topics in a way that has made it easy for our daughter to digest. She doesn't feel judged if she can't answer a question or hasn't grasped a method first time and the lessons have made a huge impact in her knowledge and (moreover) her confidence in a relatively short space of time. She is now top of her set in maths and feels like she has the tools to cope with a subject that was previously an absolute block for her. This is without a doubt down to Matilda's calm and thorough teaching style.
We are so pleased that we enrolled and found Matilda (who our daughter holds in very high esteem... praise indeed from a teenager!). We don't have money to burn, and have only been able to enrol in a weekly lesson so far, but it has made all the difference and has definitely been worth it.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Matilda and Cambridge Online Tutors for anybody else in a similar situation.

My daughter is satisfied with her meetings. She likes her Tutor for her warm approach, and she enjoys the active tasks the most, especially when preparing a presentation on a topic. As parents , we appreciate the flexible approach to organising lessons and content, punctuality, and the wonderful character of the Tutor!
