I meet the students where they are I create a tailored plan based off of topics that they need to cover in order to excel. I also explain every step in the process to the student so they can understand what we are doing and why.
I adapt the sessions to the students needs as some need more formal and structured sessions and others need balanced and guided sessions.
Some of my students need help with building confidence, others need specific topic help and others need more exam focused help. So during the first session I ask a few questions about what the students are after and I will continue to check in with the student throughout the process.
