 My Bio

As a chemistry tutor, I possess a deep understanding of the subject matter paired with effective communication skills to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner. My educational background led me to getting a grade 9 at GCSE and an A* at A Level in Chemistry. I believe that this equips me with the knowledge necessary to tackle the diverse topics within the field. I am capable of breaking down these diverse and complex concepts in understandable, smaller components to best facilitate the lessons of my students. Furthermore, my passion for the subject of Chemistry extends far beyond academics alone as I decided to sit the Chemistry Olympiad in Year 13 in which I received the Silver Award. This immeasurably increased my problem solving ability in chemistry and made me even more enthusiastic about instilling a love for the subject in my students. My teaching style is very varied including many interactive teaching methods, practical examples and real-world applications. Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to each student’s unique learning style characterise my tutoring approach. By fostering a supportive and engaging learning experience, I am confident in my ability to empower students to excel in chemistry and develop a lifelong appreciation for the scientific realm.
